"It is with great sadness that we report the death of one of our ex members, Marc Southern.Marc was a great triathlete but more importantly a true gentleman. He was self-effacing, gentle and kind.He loved his motorbike, he would turn up at the pool on the coldest of nights in his motorcycle kit , he was tough but so placid.I enjoyed a cup of tea with him a few weeks ago after one of the Leybourne races. He was on great form and was just about to buy a new TT bike for IM Frankfurt in July.
